!! OMG, Monsters INCorporated: 'Arrrgh! Monstres de mode' !!
I'm très jaloux of my mister-sister Produzentin ["she's that girl you like"] who made it to Gaîté Lyrique's 'Monsters in Fashion' exhibition in Gay Paris last week...I'm literally VERDE with envy!
The exhibition, originally called 'TOYS', features the spookier-cookier side of fashion, showing pieces by the yikes of Craig Green, Cassette Playa and Rick Owens, plus a few monster-mashups from the monster mayoress [along with many Antwerp luminaries] herself Walter Van Beirendonck:
"In my case, I refer to rituals from ethnic tribes using masks, clothes, and installations around the body to uplift the human to a kind of God"
