This is some ‘help me Obi-Wan and AUDI, you’re our only hope’ type shit… M.I.A. and Janelle Monae are both still very much alive, yet they decided the say F*CK IT to the flight, and perform instead together via hologram on stage this week for Audi from opposites side of the country.
“I wish I were in the audience because I’m sure it looked cooler from the audience, but it felt great,” Monae said after finishing her 40-minute set with M.I.A.’s hologram. “I felt M.I.A.’s spirit up there.”
