Actor River Phoenix passed away in 1993 from a drug overdose, and his last film Dark Blood was left unfinished. Fortunately, director George Sluizer found out a way to finish the film by adding narration over pieces of the film Phoenix was unable to complete.
In this trailer we see the Oscar nominated actor (“Running on Empty”) play Boy, a widower who lives on a desert that also serves as a nuclear test site. When a honeymooning couple, played by Jonathan Pryce and Judy Davis, come to town, trouble ensues.
