Ezra Miller, who you may know as Tilda Swinton‘s nightmare child in the film We Need To Talk About Kevin has been announced as Warner Brother’s choice for The Flash for their upcoming 2018 feature film version of the comic superhero!

“The Flash” story revolves around Barry Allen, a scientist who awakes from a coma and is gifted with the power of super speed. Allen is a part of the Justice League and it is expected that Miller will have some sort of cameo in the upcoming pic “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” where that team is likely to be unveiled.

This is great news! An openly ‘queer’ actor being cast as a major superhero! A total step in the right direction and great casting. After all, they may be super — but they still know what it’s like to be outsiders. Congrats to Ezra!

  1. I’m awaiting a movie based on “Herbie” starring Bruce Villanch!
