IF there’s one person you don’t want to piss off, we’ve come to learn it’s director Xavier Dolan. He has the right to be upset, but did he contact Netflix privately first? Netflix is hardly altering all the films for its own purposes. It’s much more likely that this was an error, especially considering the unusual aspect ratio. But instead of contacting Netflix he posts a temper tantrum.
let’s face it though, he’s no Da Vinci, is he?
Critifur said it all. Shut up and come back when you’ve all studied cinema.
Well you are all idiots, because film is this man’s life and art. And in this specific scene, if the view does not widen to the intended view, then it is ruined. Please don’t speak of things you nothing about. It doesn’t need to be important to you to make it not important. You are basically saying it is just fine to cut off the head of the Mona Lisa. No big deal. Who are you to say what film is art, or worthy. The man did not say a million people should be hanged for their mistake, he is simply insisting that his film be shown in the way it was intended or not to show it. How is that wrong exactly?

this is what happens when you get told over and over that you’re amazing at an early age, and you start believing your own hype.
This bitch needs to take a handful of chill pills, mix them in his morning smoothie, then take another handful, out them in his mouth and after that chase them with a glass of merlot and 3 chill pills.
