“It’s interesting that in America the problem you’re allowed to talk about is Black Lives Matter. It’s not a new thing to me—it’s what Lauryn Hill was saying in the 1990s, or Public Enemy in the 1980s. Is Beyoncé? or Kendrick Lamar going to say Muslim Lives Matter? Or Syrian Lives Matter? Or this kid in Pakistan matters? That’s a more interesting question. And you cannot ask it on a song that’s on Apple, you cannot ask it on an American TV programme, you cannot create a tag on Twitter, Michelle Obama isn’t going to hump you back.”

  1. Fuck M.I.A., what is she doing for this movement? Beyonce is not Muslim, so if she wants to great, if not, so be it. What is M.I.A. doing for the black lives matter community. She’s a fucking dumb ass.

  2. Completely agree, Robert. Additionally, I would add that any gay person who sticks their neck out for an ideology that is perfectly happy to cut off their head is an idiot.

  3. Quite simple, dear. They don’t.

Well, no more than any other. All lives matter, all lives are important. Sounded tone deaf 7 months ago, I know, but is the truth now.

The BLM movement, as far as I’m concerned, jumped from a political statement about racial injustice to just another excuse for butthurt speshul snowflakes to scream about false inequality the moment those bitches attacked Bernie at the Social Security rally in Seattle and the rest of the movement only cheered them on. Then the Missou and Yale bullshit only sealed the coffin. That’s the way of equality movements these days, the privileged members of it always ruin it for everyone and pollute the message. If you want to make a political statement about Muslim lives, honey, a BLM comparison isn’t the way to go.
