Dolly spoke recently about her ties and support of the gay community, and the backlash that she receives from her Christian fanbase:
“Absolutely, oh yes. I get it all the time.”
She then expanded by saying: “I keep saying, “If you’re the fine Christian that you think you are, why are you judging people?’ That’s God’s job. We’re not judges, we’re supposed to love one another, we’re supposed to not judge. We’re not supposed to take vengeance on other people, that’s God’s job.”

My husband and I visited “Dollywood” a few years back and were blown away by how wonderful and welcoming the park was. So many GLBT staff throughout the place!
Her… energy and spirit are embodied and celebrated in every corner!
Also note; they have “Doggywood” kenneling services for folks who are bringing pets!
