Dear !! omg blog !! readers,

Please consider taking a few minutes to fill out the 2015 LGBT Reader Survey (start the survey). The survey data is extremely important to the livelihod of !! omg blog !!, as advertisers, sponsors and charities use it to determine how they want to reach out to the LGBT community at large, including through our site.

Click here to start the survey.

It should take around ten minutes to complete. Everyone who completes the survey by May 30, 2015 may opt to be entered into a drawing to win one of ten $100 USD cash prizes, or if you win, you can designate a charity to receive the $100.

We’re grateful for your time, both in filling out the survey and in reading our site over the years.

What the hell would you have ever done with out Lady Punch, Sittin On The Toilet, Numa Numa guy, Techno Viking or Keyboard Cat!? You would have died of boredom years ago!
Well, grab the birthday candles because the first video ever posted to YouTube turns 10 today. ‘Me at the zoo‘ was uploaded by YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim (gold-diggers take note of that name, grab a pen and paper) on April 23, 2005 and the 19 second clip features him standing in front of some elephants at the San Diego Zoo.
I’m pretty sure that Jawed just stands in front of a golden palace filled with naked women riding around an infinity pool on elephants on his own private island now. Oh, how times must have changed for this man in the oversized North Face jacket! Anyway – check out the first video ever below!

First we had Facebook’s attempt to rep the gays (just in time for pride) via their new PRIDE emoji pack, and now some genius graphic designer pulled together this Instagram account showcasing their interpretations of what they think could better help the lesbian community be better-represented within the EMOJI REALM.
Check out their Instagram here for the entire collection. Would you use them?
