Call me old-fashioned but I miss the art of the mix tape. This may be because I spent a lot of time as a teenager driving around in an old Honda with only a tape player. So I was just complaining to someone last night about how the MP3 mix is just not the same and ta-da!

Well, maybe this mix-tape-shaped flash-drive holder is too twee by half, but who are we kidding-- we're talking about mix tapes here, so twee is the name of the game. It's still not the same, but I want one anyway.

By posting this, I in no way mean to take away from the awesomeness of Whitney Houston's most recent album "I Look To You," which I have been listening to on repeat since about September, but wow. This live performance of "Didn't We Almost Have it All" from Whitney's heyday should put most performers to shame. Make sure you watch the whole thing to fully witness her genius.
