!! OMG, how much wood can a woodchuck chuck?: Lifetime’s “Lizzie Borden Took An Ax” Movie starring Christina Ricci !!

o-LIZZIE-BORDEN-570.jpg
…and while we’re on the topic marriage and axe murderers: Marriage must be doing squishy love things to Christina Ricci‘s brain, because for an accomplished actress like herself to be diving into a Lifetime movie does just not make sense! From Monster to THIS! I guess it still is a recession. We all gotta get paid!
Anyhow, here is Lifetime‘s official description for it’s new unintentional-comedy:

“On a scorching, hot summer day in 1892 in Fall River, Massachusetts, Lizzie Borden (Ricci) returns home to the house she shares with her father Andrew, stepmother Abby and sister Emma (DuVall). But, unlike any normal day, Lizzie encounters the bloody scene of her parents violently murdered. Police quickly question multiple suspects in town, but evidence keeps pointing back to the Borden’s youngest daughter Lizzie, the seemingly wholesome Sunday school teacher, as the prime suspect. Lizzie’s lawyer, Andrew Jennings (Campbell), proclaims her innocence arguing that it is inconceivable a woman could commit the heinous crime of brutally murdering her family with an ax. Or is it? Lizzie is put on trial for the murders, both in the courtroom and in the press, sparking a widespread debate about her culpability. As the case rages on, the courtroom proceedings fuel an enormous amount of sensationalized stories and headlines in newspapers throughout the country, forever leaving Lizzie Borden’s name in infamy.”

Will you be watching Lizze Borden Took An Ax when it premieres on January 25th?

!! OMG, stand back: Stevie Nicks on the set of American Horror Story: Coven !!

BZd_kV1IgAAp5DA.jpg
Misty Day is about to lose her shit because Ryan Murphy tweeted a photo yesterday (above) of Stevie Nicks working on the set of American Horror Story: Coven!
This season, Lily Rabe‘s character Misty has been obsessing over Stevie and her songs throughout, and now it looks like Stevie is set to appear on the show in person. Are you ready to throw on your leather and lace and watch Stevie with the rest of the ladies of Coven?

!! OMG, get your bong ready: Lifetime’s at it again with “Flowers In The Attic” Remake Trailer !!

1471304_10152062796519810_109859495_n.jpg
We still aren’t over how traumatized we were after watching House Of Versace drag on a couple months back on Lifetime. It was like being stuck in a sort of purgatory, unable to leave, unable to tear my eyes away from the pure camp, and comforted only by the warmth of our bong.
Well, it looks like Lifetime is up to their old shenanigans again, this time by churning out a Flowers In the Attic remake (but for TV) starring Heather Graham. The original movie wasn’t great either, but in life there are certain things you can count on, and one of those things is that Lifetime will surely provide a spectacle that will make V.C. Andrews roll in her grave.
Now I can’t speak for the females in the cast, but from what I remember about the men is that every one of them from the series eventually ends up DEAD! Probably for the best considering they’d have to stick around for another hour while Lifetime chews the scenery a bit more. Have a look at the brand new trailer after the jump!

!! OMG, it’s back from the dead: The CW reboots ‘TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE’ !!

tales-from-the-darkside-film-3.jpg
With the huge success of American Horror Story, it’s really no surprise that The CW would want a slice of this moneymaking format for themselves! The network is aiming for a summer 2014 reboot of the 1984 show created by George A. Romero, Tales From the Darkside. Joe Hill, — Stephen King‘s son, is attached to write the updated version.
Are you looking forward to The CW‘s remake, or do you think the placement of it on The CW could water the scare factor down? Check out the original 80’s intro below!

!! OMG, DJ Tanner is back: FULL HOUSE to return to TV !!

Full House.jpg
When I was a child there were these two older girls who lived up the street from me who were into sanging that country music. They pretty much would have rather given their right arm than to miss an episode of Full House. Well, wherever they are today — I bet they are absolutely losing their shit, because Full House is A COMIN’ BACK y’all! Creator Jeff Franklin has been quoted as saying that:

“Last month I was asked by ABC and [Warner Bros.] to write a new show for the Full House characters. Everyone I’ve spoken with were very open to the idea [of returning].”

Yes, I’m sure Mary-Kate and Ashley are just chomping at the bit for that opportunity to put down their $55,000 pill-covered Damien Hirst handbags brimming with cash to hop a plane back for San Francisco again.

The forthcoming show would star DJ and Stephanie Tanner, and the original actresses, Candice Bure and Jodie Sweetin would reprise their roles at the ages of 37 and 31 respective.

Who are you excited to see return? An even DILF-ier Stamos? A straightedgier, and less meth-y Sweetin? DJ (who now works the late-shift bartending for tips in the Castro)?
