!! Do-it-yourself Lasik eye surgery !!
$1000 per eye seems pretty expensive for a crucially important surgical procedure that could perhaps leave you blind if handled badly. Thank goodness for the super-cheap Lasik@Home kit, which allows you to slice pieces of your cornea with a portable laser in an attempt to correct your own vision, all within the comfort of your own home. You could even do it while watching Jeopardy! as long you don't blink. If you blink, bad things will happen, as illustrated by the above photo.
