!! OMG, help find them: The missing ruby slippers !!

Director Theodore James is currently seeking funding to complete his documentary Who Stole the Ruby Slippers, which aims to raise awareness about the theft of a pair of the actual ruby slippers from the original Wizard of Oz movie. They were stolen on August 28, 2005 from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, MN.

There are some sweet perks available, including a pair of hand-embroidered "ruby sneakers." If you'd like to support the cause, you can contribute to the Kickstarter campaign here.

!! OMG, dinosaur makeover: New JURASSIC WORLD concept art boasts futuristic new park !!

jurassic-world-concept-art-big.jpg

This Jurassic World concept art comes care of Nathan Schroeder, an artist who has worked on films like Star Trek: Into Darkness, The Avengers and Thor. According to JoBlo:

The first image (click to see it bigger) evidently shows the island of Kaui, doubling as Isla Nublar in the film; we can see a monorail running the entirety of the island, with a newfangled Visitor's Center in the middle.

Kind of reminds me of someplace Naomi Campbell might live. It's chic! Are you excited to check out Jurassic World when it hits theatres? The film is set to be directed by Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson. It's scheduled for a June 2015 release date.

!! OMG, getting stuck in space is so IN right now: Check out the trailer for sci-fi short 'Entity' !!

Are we seeing a lot of 'lost in space' type vibes come out after Gravity? Regardless, the post production on this looks incredible. A pricey short to make, and definitely one worth checking out!

!! OMG, what to watch: Matt Wolf's 'TEENAGE' explores the origins of the teenager !!

1962688_10152320157148745_793395781_n.jpg

Matt Wolf's new film TEENAGE can only be described as a "living collage" of diary entries, archival footage, and filmed portraits of real teenagers from the end of the 19th century to the first half of the 20th America. The film follows teens, (before we even knew what teens were) from England to Germany, whether party-crazed Flappers or hip Swing Kids, zealous Nazi Youth or frenzied Sub-Debs -- and in an incredibly informative and entertaining way!

The film was inspired by Jon Savage's book, is scored by Bradford Cox (Deerhunter, Atlas Sound), and is voiced by actors Jenna Malone (Donnie Darko) and Ben Whishaw (Cloud Atlas, Skyfall) among others.

Teenage opens at the Landmark Sunshine in New York City today, but check out their website for other showtimes across North America and the rest of the planet. We highly recommend checking this one out!

!! OMG, you're Ghana wanna take a look at these! The lost art of Ghana's f*cked up movie posters !!

Ghana-Movie-Posters-7.jpg

I'm not sure who the 4th grader is that Ghana hired to do all of their versions of big Hollywood film posters, but whoever it is -- they defo deserve an ice cream treat from the MacDonald's drive-through on the way home!

The Planet Terror one above is my favourite. If Rose McGowan's character in the film had instead been played by Tan Mom while passing gas after she just finished eating some juicy watermelon, the artist would have just really NAILED IT! Check out some more after the jump!

[[OMG there's more! JUMP IN and read the rest]]
