Just when I thought I might go out and buy Celine Dion's A New Day 2-DVD set, Rich over at Fourfour condenses the entire thing into a five minute video that sets out to prove his ultimate hypothesis: Celine Dion is fucking amazing. I think he succeeded.
The DVD is absolutely worth the money. I was lucky enough to see the show 5 times during the run including the final show.In the front 3 rows for each show.The real time behind the scenes of the show is great.I always wondered what was going on backstage.
Deranged, sure. Orange, undeniable. Loud, amen. Soulless, possibly. Human syren, hell yeah; but amazing? She has an impressive instrument, but I can't help but feel that she's a shiny, empty shell of a diva.
