Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley is trying to sex up his image now that fellow cast member Chace Crawford is the object of so many tween girls' affection.
I wanted to lend a hand in Penn's sexiness effort by pointing out that he looks eerily similar to 80s bossy bottom porn star Kurt Stefano (their nipples are even the same size!). All Penn needs to do now is channel the Malibu Beach Hunk inside of him and he will surely capture America's heart.

Thanks for the explanation, jakeoff. I guess my initial reaction was that labeling someone as a Bossy Bottom wouldn't exactly be flattering; so I was thinking maybe that was another way of calling someone a Power Bottom. But your description made more sense! :-)

spiffy, I can't be sure what Frank meant, but since no one else has answered... From searching on the quoted phrase it sounds like it is what it says: A bottom, but one who likes to direct the action, e.g. "take me, but do it this way."
An SM site gets a lot more detailed: "It is the bottom that maintains control. Often this is in terms of setting the number of strokes to be administered and the implement to be used. He will take in full what has been agreed upon. To that extent, he can be pushed past his limits. But it is his choice. It is rather like athletic training in which the bottom sets his targets and the TOP simply puts him through his paces." Hmm, clearly I've been training at the wrong gym. ;-)
