!! OMG, he's moving to Vermont: Karl Lagerfeld !!
Call the long distance movers, because fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld just bought a six-bedroom, 1840 landmark house on an island in Lake Champlain, Vermont. As a Vermonter, this of course fills me with much pride.
Karl says of the house:
"I love it. It's very much Emily Dickinson ... I'll start doing the Chanel campaigns there."
I'm feeling ear-flaps and flannel for Fall 2009...
