Samson is a 280 pound dog - Britain's biggest - who almost had to be put down by his distraught owners because they couldn't afford a £4,000 operation. The DAILY MAIL stepped in and saved the big lug and now everyone's happy. Except me cause I don't get to pet him.

Quite a touching story, funny when julie the owner said that samson was the result of a Great Dane jumping over the fence to mate with the New Foundland next door. LOL.
