If you like classic house and disco and find yourself in Toronto on Thursday, start your Easter weekend revelry at Wrongbar (1279 Queen Street West), where our dear friends Produzentin and Mary Messhausen of Hotnuts fame are co-hosting a party. There will be live performances by Foxfire and Alixander III & Dirty 30 and DJs Jaime Sin and Dinamo Azari will join Proddy behind the decks.
If you can't make it out, commemorate Holy Thursday at home with the soulful classic house throwback "Hungry For The Power" courtesy of producer Alixander III's side project Azari & III. It features a great vocal performance by SYF, one of our favorite local divas, and will appear on Parisian label I'm A Cliché's dramatically-titled "Moments Of A Crisis" compilation. So if you like what you hear, keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, see you Thursday!
