I'd love to be a role model for gay men who feel they don't fit in to what it means to be gay. You don't need a perfect body and hair and love dance music and go out all night and do drugs. I'm a pretty decent guy. I'm the most level-headed in the band by default because everyone else is fucking insane."

yeah fuck jake..first off their music is nothing other than rehashed disco, but more important is the statement.."I hope I can be a role model" please your type of gay is the reason most gays hate themselves,,trying to live up to an image of a perfect body is much worse than being called a faggot by a straight dude.

Such bitter queens! The boy is the front-man for a BAND! A band us gay men love, and who love that its lead singer is sweet AND sexy! There is nothing wrong with him wanting to keep in shape so he looks great on stage, or in photos. And I agree with his sentiments here!

Sorry Jake but I disagree. I think it's better to say, "it doesn't (or shouldn't) matter" rather than to lie about it and pretend you're straight.
