!! OMG, so dramatic: Bat For Lashes covers "We Found Love" !!
If you thought all those crazy buzzsaw builds in Rihanna's "We Found Love" were a little on the overwhelming side then perhaps you should have a listen to Bat For Lashes' take on the track, recorded during a recent BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session.
The English singer-songwriter-interpretive dancer managed to strip the hit pop single of all its pulverizing euphoria in favor of a brooding and stately sound that's much more in line with the vibe of her excellent third album, The Haunted Man. Give it a whirl below:
