!! OMG, YAASSSS! New poster and trailer for thriller ‘The Boy Next Door’ starring J.Lo !!

J.Lo is stepping away from recording world cup soccer chants for a while to get back into that acting thing.
Her next film ‘The Boy Next Door’ features her caught up in a dangerous liaison with her character’s son’s friend which turns sour, and let me tell you — my bong is already thanking me for this film.

The film stars Jennifer Lopez as a newly separated mother who finds herself attracted to the teenage boy who moves in next door and befriends her son. But when she wants to stop their illicit romance, he’s not ready to let her go.

I might be pregnant, because I’m getting a strange craving for J.Lo getting back to acting. I mean… The Cell really was a work of art! Check out the trailer (SO GOOD!) and new poster below!

!! OMG, First Look At Poster For New SXSW Horror Favourite ‘HONEYMOON’ !!

MAGNET Releasing has been putting out some great horror lately, so we’re looking forward to seeing this: Game Of ThronesRose Leslie and Penny Dreadful‘s Harry Treadaway play a newlywed couple in Honeymoon, writer-director Leigh Janiak‘s hugely impressive feature horror film debut.

Honeymoon follows their characters as their relationship crumbles, no thanks to, let’s just say, “supernatural” forces. The descent happens once Bea (Leslie) and Paul (Treadaway) get settled into a secluded cabin that she once frequented as a youngster; there, during one bizarre night, Paul finds Bea out in the woods, naked and disoriented, and that strange incident triggers her mental and physical deterioration and his reluctant detective efforts, all of which collide in Honeymoon’s unnerving finale.

Honeymoon opens September 12th, and you can check out the trailer below!

!! OMG, just look at this ridiculousness: The New Poster For ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ !!

This summer’s Felicity Keri Russell vehicle AKA Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes will hit theatres July 11th, but for now you can check out the jocosity that is its newly released poster featuring a hairy ape with a gun, riding on a horse in Amurrica! How symbolic!

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Will you be checking out Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes this summer?

!! OMG, toil and trouble: A brand new poster for horror-comedy ‘Witching & Bitching’ is here !!

We caught Witching & Bitching at last year’s Midnight Madness during TIFF, and it was one of the better horror comedies we’d seen in a long time.

“When a bank heist in the city doesn’t all go according to plan, José and Tony find themselves in possession of some hostages and speeding through the mountains of Spain, hoping to quietly slip over the border. Not wanting to give up his custody days to his ex-wife, José has also brought his son along, for both the robbery and the ride. Little do they know that this is only the beginning of their troubles. When they decide to make a stop in a small tavern in the Basque countryside, the group encounters a series of local wackos. Falling victim to a mysterious spell, they soon find themselves the honored guests of a fractured family of witches who are preparing for an ancient ritual. More colorful characters begin to enter the picture, including a pair of hapless cops hot on the trail, a defecting vixen witch and José’s controlling ex-wife, and the situation spirals further out of control, heading towards a jaw-dropping climax.”

While this new poster for the film is very Hocus Pocus, the film is very not and has an awesomely dark humour to it, much of which was conjured up around director Alex de la Iglesia‘s point of upset while creating it — dealing with his ex-wife!
Check out the trailer for Witching & Bitching below! The film is out on VOD and in theaters June 13 via IFC Midnight.
