!! OMG, and HOLY SH*T: The Second Trailer For ‘SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE’ Is Here !!

In anticipation of SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE making its premiere on Syfy Wednesday, July 30, the newest trailer for the over-the-top but low-budget disaster film is here for our viewing pleasure.
Oscar winning actress and Palm d’Or red carpet sweetheart Tara Reid (we’re gonna need more Rev) stars opposite 90210‘s Ian Ziering.

In SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE, a freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a “sharknado” on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites – and only Fin and April (Ian Ziering and Tara Reid, returning from the original) can save the Big Apple.

Are you excited to tune into SHART-NADO 2 when it hits TV screens next month? If not, are you excited to see Sugar Ray singer and EXTRA correspondent Mark McGrath act at least?

!! OMG, grab your Oscar ballots: Ian Ziering and Tara Reid return for SHARKNADO 2 !!

I’m not sure which insurance company lost their mind long enough to insure Tara Reid while she shot a movie, but I owe them a box of chocolates, a hug, and a huge THANKS BEBS, because Tara Reid will apparently reprise her iconic role as April in SHARKNADO 2: The Second One alongside her co-star Ian Ziering (90210).
Asylum COO Paul Bales had this to say about the upcoming sequel which will air on the Syfy Network:

“We’re thrilled to be able to bring back the talent that made ‘Sharknado’ a hit. Can lightning strike twice? I don’t know, but it’s a scientific fact that you’re more likely to be killed by lightning than by a shark. This film will have lightning and sharks, so that’s got to count for something.”

The original two-hour movie delivered 1.4 million total viewers to its premiere telecast, with an encore airing trumping that with 2.1 million viewers. These numbers mean nothing to Tara, but what she does know is that it buys you a lot of Blue Raspberry Freezie flavoured Rev, and lucky for us, Tara’s got priorities!
