!! OMG, he came out: Kaldrick King on ‘The L.A. Complex’ !!

Particularly in its second season, the CW’s “The L.A. Complex” has proven itself a key player in heightening the visibility of LGBT characters on TV, with closeted rapper Kaldrick King (played by Andra Fuller) coming out to his father on Monday’s season finale. The parallels with Frank Ocean couldn’t be missed as King posted an open letter to his dying dad on the Internet, which read:

“And when I finally found someone that I thought I could love and love me back, it made me hurt them… I have wanted to die because I could not be who I wanted to be. Who you wanted me to be. But I couldn’t be… None of these lies I told made me stronger. None of the secrets I kept made me happier. My name is Sean Duggan. AKA Kaldrick King. AKA The King of California. I’m gay.”

Ella Henderson is a name you’ll want to remember, if you aren’t already watching this season of UK X Factor. For her latest performance, Henderson has done the seemingly impossible — completely reinterpreted Cher’s “Believe” into a modern ballad, one that even Cher herself got behind. The star tweeted her approval with, “work Done …Went on Utube 2 c young girl sing Believe! Tears came 2 my eyes! So Touching! a Great version of a Great Song.WE Can Share It !”

!! OMG, when two become one: ‘Breaking Bad’ + ‘Brokeback Mountian’ !!

If you’re as addicted to “Breaking Bad” as the rest of the world seems to be, then you’ll surely want a hit of this fan video mashing up of Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul‘s tense chemistry with the will-they-won’t-they dynamic of “Brokeback Mountain.” They call it “Breakbad Mountain,” but personally I would have gone with “Methlab Mountain.”

!! OMG, flop-tastic: Lindsay Lohan in the ‘Liz & Dick’ teaser trailer !!

Yikes. The teaser trailer for Lindsay Lohan‘s career-rebooting portrayal of Elizabeth Taylor is here and, oh my, is it bad. Not so rebooting, after all. The video divulges almost zero dialogue — or, you know, acting — from Lohan, besides a rather tepid, “You’re sleeping with that bitch!” By comparison, Katie Holmes‘ turn as Jackie Kennedy on Reelz suddenly seems Emmy-worthy.
